In all 62TE, the original design of this housing as shipped from the factory is completely aluminum.

The ring bore (large hole in the center a shaft rides in) has proven this too soft for long term durability. 


Our new 62TE Low Clutch Housing center bore is machined to receive a highly precision, hardened steel sleeve.  After this sleeve is pressed into place it is then staked into the housing to eliminate the chance movement can occur in the future.
As pictured, updated sealing rings are included!
