Easily add extra capacity to the OD stack in all models:

  • Add 2 single sided OD frictions for a total of 14 (diesel) for a 15% gain
  • Add 1 double sided OD friction for a total of 5 (gas) for a 25% gain
Hot-Forged 1045 Steel Fully CNC Overdrive Pressure Plate allows the addition of extra capacity to the OD stack

Fits all 45, 5-45, 65, 66 and 68RFE gas and diesel OEM drums.

1999 to 2024 Chrysler, Dodge, RAM and Jeep vehicles equipped with 45RFE, 545RFE, 65RFE, 66RFE and 68RFE are prone to overdrive clutch failure when the engine output has been increased.

Description

Goerend overdrive/reverse backing plates are machined using in-house CNC technology to ensure a perfect fit. These plates increase the capacity of your overdrive clutch pack, improving the durability and performance of your transmission by helping prevent overdrive clutch slippage and failure. These backing plates are a direct fit for the OEM drum. You won't need to spend extra money on a new drum. This makes them a cost-effective solution for upgrading your transmission
