Common concerns associated with Ford 6F35 (Gen. 1 and Gen. 2) units are high TCC slip, TCC lining degradation, TCC slip codes, and converter apply or release concerns. These issues are often caused by excess wear at the TCC control valve bore. In addition, converter/lube and cooler flow can be inhibited, resulting in an overheat situation.
