Flare upshifts or downshift bind-ups are common problems in vehicles equipped with ZF6HP19/26/32 (Gen. 1) and Ford 6R60, 6R80 transmissions. These problems can be accompanied by a coastdown neutral condition, or pressure control out-of-range codes. The clutch control valve controls clutch apply and release timing, and problems occur when the clutch control valve wears. To fix these issues, Sonnax offers the oversized clutch A control valve kit 95740-09K to restore shift timing and vehicle drivability.
  • Hard-coat anodized aluminum clutch control and boost valves resist wear and fit tighter to the bore than OE for better sealing
